Title 41 chapter 462- Lotteries and GamesThere are two types of applications for Charitable Lottery:
NV Gaming Charitable Lottery License Application Under $100,000 in Annual Prize NV Gaming Charitable Lottery License Application Over $100,000 in Annual PrizeQualified Organizations and Qualified Sports Organizations are permitted to operate online raffles in Nevada.
There are two types of qualifying organizations which have different limitations: Qualified Organizations and Qualified Sports Organizations. “Qualified organization” means an alumni, charitable, civic, educational, fraternal, patriotic, religious or veterans’ organization or a state or local bar association that: 1. Has been certified by the Department of Taxation or the Internal Revenue Service as not operated for profit; or 2. Is registered with the Secretary of State as a charitable organization that solicits contributions pursuant to NRS 82A.100.A “qualified professional sports organization” that is affiliated and co-branded with a professional sports team franchise which is a member of Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League or the National Football League; and plays the majority of its home games in this State.

You may not provide any additional compensation to a regular employee for services in organizing or operating a charitable lottery.
You may only pay fair market value of the prizes and supplies necessary for the operation of the charitable lottery.

Does your organization have a segregated bank account exclusively for raffle operations?
Yes
You are ready to onboard! While a segregated bank account is not required, transparent and dutiful record keeping is elemental.
